J'ai repris la lecture de la trilogie il y a un peu plus de deux semaines (j'avais lu le premier tiers du premier volume il y a plus d'un an) et je viens tout juste de finir le dernier volume. C'est un...monde, c'est la séparation forcée de deux personnes qui s'aiment (en général, par la mort de l'un des deux, mais là c'est pareil pour moi). C'est IGNOBLE. Franchement. (Je veux une icône Will/Lyra.)

The puppets for the daemons were done very well, and the...perfectly understandable to someone who hadn't read them. This picture, when I found it via a link from midsummeroath , I found it to be breathtaking. Chad loved it as well. It captures their pain at separation, as well as the courageous "moving on" that...the series in general. I always did feel a deep connection to the books, as did he, but now... yeah. I don't know that I'll be able to see the third movie when/if it comes out. Anyway, the pic:
