So, this weekend was kee-razy for me. I worked overtime on Saturday, and the kids were here. Early Monday morning, about 3:30 a.m., I woke up to the sound of someone being sick. That someone was Jimmy... because one cannot convert to an individual Kaiser plan unless one is no longer offered any coverage through one's group, we are effectively blocked from continuing on the decent plan. Good times

We are moving on Thursday and Friday of this week to our new house. The packing is going pretty well, although I think I may have overdone it a little - I feel terrible today, exhausted and fluey again...enabled pubs in town, or play from Ian's work. It does mean that I will not be on anywhere near as much, though, or able to chat on IRC frequently if at all. Gonna be a lonely few weeks... :

3rd time lucky, they say. So, my gp examined me and said, "yeah, your lungs are still crackling... and I don't like that your ears are clicking and sore. Also, your temperature is elevated, so you have... Oh yes, the broken capilliaries etc. are from the aspirin, but they're not serious so I should ignore them. I'm sure it would be serious if GP was getting old lady legs at 40, she mutters darkly

Well, got a mixed bag of news from the doctor today. Had a procedure called a discogram that included a CAT scan. Results of that? Negative. In other words, none of the discs in my back tested showed...recommendations to a different sort of specialist to see if drug therapy or what not can assist me with the issue of constant pain in my back, and see if the situation will heal itself. Here's to hoping

They're making a sequel to the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra , due out this year! Kudos to humourcide for the heads-up. I can't wait! :D I had something else to say but it's gone now...! It figures that now that I'm no longer feeling so wretched, the weather is. Bum.

Still sick today... My head is so heavy I feel like one of those stupid bobble-heads. I'm headachy, nauseous and weak as a kitten. :( On the plus side Ian decided that we could afford a new laptop to replace...around each other's computer needs for long. I might go out and sit by the sea or something for a bit later... Despite feeling like ass I'd like to get a little fresh air; it might even do some good..

I feel like boiled ass - no gym for me...recouping my losses if this Schafer person has my stuff (signed, sealed and delivered!), much less how I'm going to find/afford/acquire more wedding favours in time. So do you know if it's possible to get pinkeye without actually developing red eyes? Last week, K had massive eye boogers, which made me look at her suspiciously more or less constantly, but her eyes never...are starting to feel sticky and gritty. Obviously, we'll go to the doctor tomorrow if things haven't improved, but I'm curious if anyone with experience with pinkeye/conjunctivitis has any opinions

Just a quick update. Yes, growing up sucks. Especially when you have a spine as intriguing as mine. Apparently, this marvelous arthritic degradation of my lumbar vertebrate isn't responding to my steroid...goodness I'm in the military - I'd hate to have to foot the bill for everything that's being done. Last night, I learned something about a problem I've been having. You know how you get those occasional little muscle twitches - in your hand or your eye? Well, I've had one in my right eye for over a...in the lunch room. ;) And with work and homework involving the computer, I'll have to limit my leisure time on it, at least until I can get this twitching to go away.
