lurker here :) Hi ! I *love* cumin! I found a good deal on a little baggie of it last night that smells wonderfully fresh- YAY ! Now I'm trying to figure out good ways to use it. Mostly, I've put it...spice can be more versatile than that. Does anyone have any favorite way's and places to use cumin on? Bonus if it's a quick and easy recipe or a common dish that it adds a lot too! Thank you! :

2 months ago I went completely crazy by buying 2 kilos of  clearence "Organic" split peas from  a not so organic supermarket chain. This so called bargain has at managed to attract a significant layer...I was just wondering are there any interesting things which can be done with green split peas or if anyone has a decent split pea recipee    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Jason Gre
