Hey, kids! I'm home! I am... exhausted , to put it mildly. I had to leave for my 6:25AM flight out of Vancouver at about 4:30, so I didn't bother sleeping beforehand (I doubt I would've if I'd tried...finally given in to the exhaustion and the awesome that is David and his inevitable, constant ability to make me feel better. Night, all. Just a little tease to tide y'all over in the interim. ;)
I think the holiday business has finally died down. I spent Christmas at my grandparents' out in west Texas. It was nice in that I got to see the family, including a couple of my cousins who are now 13...a bit longer. I'd like to have at least one real lecture ready by the time I go back to Virginia. That gives me three days since I fly out on Thursday. So I guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow

I'll do a proper holiday summary post tomorrow once everyone else in my fmaily is back to work and the holidays are officially over. For now, have some end-of-the-year memes. "What did you do this year... is pretty much as far as I can see. Looking back over all this, it sounds like my year consisted of passing my comps, getting my motorcycle, and my sister's wedding. Sounds about right I suppose
It is so RIDICULOUSLY cold here today. It's supposed to be something like negative 25 tomorrow, wtf. Go away, weather. I don't talk politics much here, but the caucus is Thursday night and I'm still undecided... IDEK. I also watched I Am Legend and now desperately want Supernatural crossover fic, where Dean and or Sam have managed to survive and make their way to New York. Happy New Year, bbs! ♥
New Year's Party was fun in a "four guys, a girl and a little adorable Persian cat alone in the same house" kind of way. Meaning: the played PES6 and other PS2 games, including sports BUZZ, and I played... WE ate too much crap. It was scary. Btw, Safari Cola? Sucks. Yuck! I'm not one for alcoholic drinks. They usually taste bad. I hope your New Year's Party was fun, flist! :) Have a great 2008!!
...or at least that's what it sounds like. Has anyone on my super shiny flist ever washed their trainers in the washing machine? I've just stuck mine in, on a cool wash, and really hope they survive...little corner to stand in, getting back out to go to the loo was impossible. Hope everyone else's new year was good - I'll be catching up on flist over the next few days. M e r r y N e w Y e a r !
I am... exhausted . Tired!Mulder in my mood theme pic (is it sad that I know immediately that cap is from Folie a Deux? probably) feels my pain. It has been one motherfucker of a LONG day. Mainly good... (This marathon is totally part of my annual tradition.) Happy New Year , everyone. Wish me luck on my trip! I love you all, and I'll get back online and touch base with you as soon as I can.
