So I just posted the entire list of homicides in Oakland for this year, and I just got word of ANOTHER one. The 106th homicide this year: 9/29/2008: gunshot, male, age 48, 84th Ave. and Dowling St. Two miles from where I live. That must've been the shot I heard. I heard someone die.
