I'm planning a move to the city in October, but I'm not sure how to go about finding a place to live. I'd like to find a studio or 1 bedroom apartment in a decent area, but my major problem is that I have...room for rent, but that would be a last resort for me. I'm not comfortable in shared living spaces, plus my job would require me to either have to rent out an extra room or take over the living room
Hi All, My questions are more directed to parents, however if you are not a parent and have some information you're welcomed to chime in :) My husband and I lived in Chicago a couple of years ago....a REALLY GOOD stroller" advice. How about some less obvious things? How about advice on finding good child care? Any good pediatricians in the city (ones that are pro- AP)? Thanks for any advic

Hey guys, One of my roommates is moving out (due to a 2hour-ish commute) and we're looking for someone awesome to move in to our 3br in July. Here's the craigslist: chicago.craigslist.org/chc/roo/1783551129...men": my roommates says that in her experience, dudes are harder to live with. Truthfully we're just looking for someone with the right balance of easygoing, awesome, and not obnoxious. No jerks, please.
I'm starting my apartment search by checking out listings in the Reader and by walking by places. Just wondering if anyone else has any resources that they've found helpful. I'm looking for a one bedroom in Edgewater June or July so any recommendations for places to check out (or avoid) would be great as well. Thanks.
My boyfriend is working in Oregon this summer and his roommate is looking for someone to take his room for 3 months, from June to August. Greetings future temporary neighbors! I'm currently training to be a flight attendant, and am being based in Chicago/O'Hare. I plan on putting in a transfer to the base that is in the town I actually...be in Chicago. Also, just general suggestions of what to see and do in Chicago would be cool too. I'm an East Coast girl and completely unfamiliar with Chicago -- never been, never passed through
I'm looking to move at the end of May/beginning of June (lease is up June 1) to the area around Evanston/Rogers Park/Andersonville-ish. I plan on just doing some driving around to look for places, but...would like to take advantage of whatever resources I can get my hands on. I saw good reviews of ChiDomicile on Yelp, and wondered if anyone here had used them and how they were to work with. Thanks
