I just finished reworking my last assignment for illustration class where we had to draw out a "how-to" without using any words. I hope it's obvious enough what I chose. Originally I had painted the image in watercolours but the colours came out completely wrong and so I decided to rework it in Adobe Illustrator, using the original ink drawings I had the foresight to scan before...

This plump, lil' chickadee is braving the snowstorm...but don't worry, he's bundled up in his favorite scarf 'n' hat. Plus he brought along his thermos filled with steaming hot cocoa. *Chickadee picks up cup with his foot and takes a sip* This is an 8x10" print of my original ink illustration, which has been digitally colored. Just a quick post to say, a few more things are up on my artblog , as of a couple of days ago. Still looking for illustration jobs, and hell, that's SCARY.  I still have no idea where to begin.  A colleague at the museum passed my details on to an awesome lady who runs a publishing company, with the intention that I ask a few questions, get an idea of the market etc. ... I dunno, I felt awful afterwards...
