Last night, a visit with MadreDiablo to the Chinese sorcerer P.F.Chang , who performed a trio of chicken sacrifice ceremonies [cashew, kung-pao & lemon pepper], brought good fortune on my work done...Sunday things, tonight. So much for fun; I must get ready from quality family time tomorrow. All day. Beer Procurement Update 1 bottle of 3 Dogfish Head Theobroma is now in the cellar.
A co-worker came in this morning complaining of food poisoning. Since I'm the foodie of the group, I got the lowdown. It was a charity event at the Bavarian Grill, an over-priced, yet clean restaurant...beer/Oktoberfest theme - subtle though as I have limited resources on hand at this hour. Bonus: I've got a T-shirt from Bavarian Grill to dress his office chair with. We sit in open cubes. Game on.
Be sure to have fun this weekend - I won't, as I'll be working. That’s life when your job has a rotation. Interestingly enough, an inadvertent trap was set when a co-worker who couldn't work as Weekend...into town on this Thursday, followed by PadreDiablo next Monday. I’ll be figuring out how to juggle all this and be somewhat entertaining. I’m pretty sure that it’s going to have to involve beer.

Busy during the day yesterday with Weekend Manager duties but no calls during the night. I did get a 07:42am wake-up call for a minor problem and another call two hours later to initiate the repair...but I feel good about it.
