It's always bugged me that critics refer not to evolution but to Darwin. As Olivia Judson says, It suggests that Darwin was the beginning and the end, the alpha and omega, of evolutionary biology...to ask questions about the detailed workings of evolution that it has not been possible to ask before. Here's a review of a supplemental text book, " Explore Evolution ," that is being introduced in Louisiana by proponents of the Intelligent Design theory of evolution (basically trying to teach our kids...science in favor of zealot-ridden religious propaganda. And unfortunately, this book is very good at using psuedo-science to make a case that undermines evolution in a rather convincing fashion.
