I just got the electronic proof of our invitation and the company is saying I ought to include RSVP information on the invitation itself. Is that necessary? There will be a stamped, addressed RSVP postcard in the packet, due date included. Is that not enough? Should I add a line on the invitation? What were your experiences?
So, I was so tired of planning. Fortunately, this coincided with my first semester of grad school, which happened to be a mini term. Now that it's over, and I'm taking "normal" classes, I have time to...____ Accepts ____ Regrets We promise to dance at the reception if you play ______________________________________
Let me begin by saying that I'm a math teacher and I love spreadsheets.... Our RSVP date was the 1st and we have only received 50% of our RSVPs (exactly, actually). My parents keep telling me that this...my venue (as I'm sure most of you do) and I don't have a lot of extra time to track these people down. For those of you who have gotten your RSVPs, did you really have a lot of late people? Thanks
This idea was inspired by the recent awkward situation of a fellow community member receiving an RSVP card for someone not invited to the wedding. I made a quick (Paint-formulated!) mock-up of an RSVP card. Let me know what you think. Obviously, there should be more information on the RSVP card, but it's the general idea :]
I know that it is etiquette to put stamps on RSVPs, but I am sending out around 100 invites... There are about 20 that I am confident will be no's and that to me is a lot of wasted money? Would it be terribly tacky for me to not include postage on the RSVP's?
i've made a wedding website and i'm also going to be doing my own invites [got the DIY invites from walmart. 100 for $5 on clearance so we got another 100]. i'll be decortating them around this time... our site . i've also made the decision to just keep my dress and buy a sash at davids bridal. the one where its satin, skinnier, and in watermellon. i want to tie a cute bow in the front or side
As I get closer to my wedding (89 days! when did that happen?), I find that I'm posting more often. Anyway... I really like my FMIL, but lately she's kind of getting on my nerves. She keeps INSISTING... So which do you think is better? Is it OMGNECESSARY that dinner is mentioned explicitly, or is common sense and the website enough? Input is appreciated, as I was going to print these tonight. grrrr..
Okay, so I designed my invites and spent lots of time on them. I'm not very familiar with photoshop so it took me a while! I ordered my rsvps from vistaprint earlier this week and just realized my typo...over. Uggh. I feel like such an idiot, haha. is it that obvious? :/ Anyone else send something off to the printers and then realize you messed up on it? Did you use it anyway or re-print it all
Hello ladies, I have a question! Has anyone had their white gold ring re-dipped? I sent mine off to Zales to be re-dipped last Friday. Today I was reading on a brides.com forum about it and someone said...people above 125, they get to pay the extra $800 and I will not hear a word about it. Currently we're up to 68 people, with just 23 RSVPs back. Yay! Lol. Anyway, hope everyone's planning is going well
How long does it take to get postcards back? I bought my invitations for our May 9th vow renewal. I put on the invitation to respond by April 1st, thinking postcards would take longer to get them back. I also assume that by saying April 1st, I will likely be getting things back around the 15th which is when I need to order food.
