COLLEGE FOOTBALL, BABY!! -WEEK 5 My Irish lost to Michigan State (which I knew would happen) and the Cards had already won their Week 4 game last Wednesday night. Week 4 Scores: Louisville...State, Saturday-8:00m, on ABC  This is the most important Big 10 game of this weekend (and of the season so far since conference games start now). Should be a good one!   GO IRISH! GO CARDS!

COLLEGE FOOTBALL, BABY!! -WEEK 4 Last week my Irish beat Michigan which was UTTERLY ENJOYABLE and the Cards already won their Week 4 game Wednesday night. Week 3 Scores: Notre Dame 35...little Auburn. In fact, this is like The Little Engine That Could (who happens to be good this year) against the defending National Champions! Go Auburn Tigers!!   GO IRISH! GO CARDS!

COLLEGE FOOTBALL, BABY!! -WEEK 3 Last week both teams won-one much more impressively than the other-but like I always say a W is a W! Week 2 Scores: Louisville   51,   Tennessee...to watch: (Of course) # 5 Ohio State at # 1 USC, Saturday-8pm, on ABC  This one is pretty early in season but the billing reads like a BCS National Championship Title game huh?     GO IRISH!

Well, Saturday turned out a LOT better for me as a sports fan than I thought it would. First of all my Cards and my Irish both won. One in a pretty hefty manner, the other not so much. But hey... Let's try and keep it that way. The only way my extended sports-weekend could get any better would be if the Vikings beat the Packers in the Land of Cheese tonight. I will be crossing my fingers.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL, BABY!! -WEEK 2 Last week was beyond embarassing for the Cards, and hopefully not the best I'll feel about the Irish this year since they didn't have a game (and by that I mean...College, Saturday-12noon, only on ESPN 360  # 11 West Virginia at East Carolina, Saturday-4:30pm, ESPN East Carolina beat Virginia Tech last week which was a nice way to open their '08 season

Ok kids! The moment that lovers of Saturday afternoons in the Fall have long awaited...COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK, BABY!! This week, my alma mater is opening their season with a home game against...one who has only 1 year left is Schwapp-all the rest of them are young. -In 2008 Jimmy Clausen will have even more experience which will bring more confidence and "thinking-on-your-feet" skills
