I have the nicest group of guests in house tonight. It's a group of 5 women. They checked in just after 11. It's 50° outside, but they asked if the pool/jacuzzi were still open. I said, "Technically... Also, admittedly, a guests attitude has a lot to do with how far I want to go to help them (i.e. Mr. I'm Going To Cry Over Sheets). These women were sweet and pleasant and reminded me why I'm here
Why the fuck do people use their cell phones and call the hotel's main number from their rooms instead of just picking up the landline in the room and dialing 0?

I had a twelve hour shift last night, from seven pm to seven am. So, I had to interact a bit with guests who are more sober than I'm used to, since its been awhile for me to be there at dinner hours instead... moved over enough to where she was sittin' right where I was standin', so I had to look straight down to talk, meanin' a generous view of her cleavage. Nice. I should work evenings more often
So the snow rolled in Saturday afternoon and the students haven't rolled back in from break yet, so it looked to be a quiet night. My side-job cancelled in the morning so I got enough sleep for the first...and headed home. Man it sucked that I wasn't able to get out before last call, I really needed to get hammered. Cuddling up with my cat alone at home was comforting, but not nearly as cathartic

Some half-a-retard just checked in and he was twenty-four cents short. I still gave him a room. Fucking weak. I'd really be mad at myself if I didn't short the degenerate drunk that checked in next a quarter to make up for it. That extra penny in the till is one more cent closer to the hotel having a jacuzzi.
