Appaloosa: Directed By: Ed Harris Starring: Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, Renee Zellwegger, Jeremy Irons Appaloosa is a western in ten words or less. This turns out to be both the movie's strength, as... Zellweger and Mortensen where most of it is Harris and Mortensen chuckling at each other, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. So I would have to give this movie a B+. But I sure did enjoy it

      Stage star and Oscar Winner Helen Mirren will take on the revised role of "Prospera" in Julie Taymor's upcoming film version of William Shakespeare's  The Tempest ...ohnotheydidnt   So much fierceness. Helen alone, but then Russell Brand? Hellz. I love Julie Taymor even if she's a little too abstract, she is original and that is much appreciated.

HOLY CRAP. I JUST NOW REALIZED THAT BOTH HUGH LAURIE AND JEREMY IRONS WERE IN The Man in the Iron Mask TOGETHER. I NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE NOOOOOW. OH GOD. Ugh. If someone could do me a huge favour...he has a romantic scene, I always think, "Well, this was unexpected--oh, wait. Yeah, that's a guy." Plus, he just always comes off as a whiny brat. ETA: Please tell me this is a good movie. x

I love school, but I got that inevitable sinking feeling today: the feeling that summer weather's days are seriously numbered if not ultimately finished. I couldn't smell summer in the air, that aroma...the text and preserving the innocence of a child. Personally, I advocate the former more so than the latter but that may be because I'm both a terrible person and a total dork. Good Night Moon

Two of my favorite movies (I have many and will probably write about many) are two films by the director Bernardo Bertolucci (sorry if that isn't spelled correctly), Stealing Beauty and The Dreamers. Both...much that I've practically crucified myself a thousand times over because I feel like such a disapointment to myself most of the time. Gargh!!! Even though I just posted an hour ago, I must post once more about an actor that I adamantly admire!! The wonderfully talented (and sexy), and vocally gifted Jeremy Irons. Oh my goodness, this...beautiful melted chocolate sex. I would totally pull an Ursula from the Little Mermaid and steal his voice. I only bought the film 'Being Julia' because he does commentary on it. He's just excellent
