This is my take of the famous Laska of Southeast Asia. The difference is that I turn this into a curry that is eaten with rice, as opposed to a soup. And I use chicken instead of sea food. ...milk and chicken stock. For rich curry, use all coconut milk and no stock. Anyone have experience with clip on earrings? Would you recommend them? All the ones I ever tried hurt my ears. (DH has this idea that DD1 needs clip on earrings for xmas, or somesuch.)

This is a simple recipe for tasty and spicy ginger chutney. INGREDIENTS 1½-inch ball Seedless raw tamarind (Indian/Asian grocery store) 3-inch piece Fresh ginger, chopped fine...or food processor.
