Ausiello writes an article about scoop on shows and adds a touch of a preview for the CBS' "Watch" Magazine cover which features the whole cast. And Kaley and Jim, as it should be, OTPing their characters...magazine. Source (there is scoop for other shows over there in case you want to avoid/see it) Update! CBSTweet just posted a video of the shooting by Kunal! You can download it here
Here's an interview with Jim Parsons from ET Online . Yes, the Penny question is asked (and woohoo!) not completely refuted! And I love how it's referred to as "the burning question." BUZZ, BABY, BUZZ...just absurd. It just bordered on vaudeville. It was so much fun to do. It was one of the only times I had trouble keeping a straight face. "The Big Bang Theory" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on CBS.
The Hollywood Reporter reports the Television Critics Awards nominations. OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN COMEDY "30 Rock" (NBC) "The Big Bang Theory" (CBS) "The Daily Show" (Comedy Central) "How I Met...Sheldon Cooper on THE BIG BANG THEORY. Here’s to hoping Parsons sees his name on the ballot come Emmy season. I think this is even more proof that Jim is practically a shoe-in for the Emmy nod
There's a looooooooong list of all of the names submitted for Emmy noms here . I don't mean to be spamming with all of these Jim/Emmy-related articles, but they're everywhere right now. Another Emmy Dream Nominations article: BEST ACTOR, COMEDY: Let's hear it for the nerds....the most original and hilarious performances as the overly logical nerd Sheldon. Season two proved he wasn't a flash in the pan, and Emmy voters would be idiots to ignore this great performance again.
Note: This confirms once and for all, that Jim DID submit under the lead category. That was the right choice, in my opinion, because it's either going to Piven ( again! ) or will go to the long-deserving... between 1979 and 1985. If Parsons is thinking of her first bid, he would've been only 6 years old. Now that's a serious Emmy geek! Source Bottom-line: JIM PARSONS IS AWESOME AND ADORABLE!!!!
Here's a full article at thefutoncritic on the info (including the fact that Chandra Wilson -- his co-announcer -- is from Texas also.) Here are a few Emmy articles that mention Jim Parsons: "I don’t watch television like I used to (aka regularly), and there are many shows friends of mine would include in such a request - Battlestar... "And it's probably time for a couple of its actors, like Simon Helberg, to break into that monopoly in the supporting comedy actor pack." Source Woohoo! And Simon Helberg gets a mention too!!
