I went to my first job training for Sylvan.  It was pretty good.  It was a little weird though because I was definitely the youngest person there.  I was really really excited to talk to people and find out where they taught and how they got to their jobs and what their lives are like, so that was cool.  But I felt like the two head ladies kept coming up to me like I was a child trying to explain things...

First of all, who the hell schedules a 19 year old to work all day on Halloween?? The people I work for, that's who. We have tons of adults who work there, many of whom are too old to have small children...at random points in the story Jack eats mini mangoes. Also, magic 8 balls are an integral part of the plot. Good yes? There's more, and it'd be freaking hilarious if I ever do write it. Thoughts? 

To my surprise (and delight) I no longer feel as if I am entering prison every morning as I come in to work, nor do I feel like I'm escaping prison when I leave.
