Finished 2 short audio books: The Sagan Diary , John Scalzi ( Audio ) 2.5 of 5 Stars. Eh, it was okay. Wouldn't make any sense unless you first read Old Man's War and The Ghost Brigades . I... A Novel . I like that he is the reader. Author read books rock. This was an adult fairy tale (not x-rated, but rather had things like death with a knife in the eye, etc.) Neat story, and very well read.

I enjoyed this book like no other in recent memory! This was the first novel I've devoured since I can't remember when. It's really like reading a great Heinlein space military adventure, but without...women in Old Man's War seem like real people, for example, instead of like a science fictionauthor's dream sex companions. I'm very impressed, and looking forward to reading Scalzi's other books
They say that John Scalzi has the brain of Robert A. Heinlein in a tank somewhere, or is channeling the spirit of RAH, or even is the next incarnation of RAH (how does that work?).

If you like science fiction or fantasy, or just fancy having a ton of ebooks to hand in case of boredom (I still favour the pocket paperback myself, but many of you have more advanced personal electronics... in my own home, going to brush my teeth like a good boy, I managed to cut my finger and have it bleed so much that, to quote one flatmate, "I thought someone had been slaughteredin the bathroom"
