I find that I watch this place from afar more often than not, and this suits me just fine. It is not -- has never been -- my place to be the centre of attention. No, that job has always been left to Phedre...this place, it is not cause for concern. [yes, i know i owe other tags, but i'm reading new canon and he is very loud. tag whenever, i'll either be lightning fast or very slow, depending on work.]

After his disastrous conversation with Phedre, Joscelin goes to spend some quality time alone in the jungle. At the makeshift Temple of Elua, Hyacinthe finds him . That conversation, too, doesn't exactly go well, and things are left entirely unresolved. Timed to a few days after April 10th.

The morning of April 10th, Phedre tells Joscelin about her feelings for Hyacinthe. It goes about as well as anyone would expect it to.

Dated to December 4 : Phedre is out in the snow and is discovered by Joscelin and Hyacinthe . Phedre and Hyacinthe exchange words and come to a decision; Joscelin has a troubling revelation for Phedre about the nature of Kate the blacksmith's death. [both threads still ongoing.]

Joscelin awakes to screams and chaos outside, and quickly realizes that today is no ordinary day. He leaves the safety of his hut to try to find Phedre to make sure that she is safe, and quickly walks...involved in yet another case of mistaken identity. Joscelin's worst fear comes true right before his eyes as Selig takes her life and he can do nothing but watch helplessly. Rated Adult for some violence

In the middle of the woods, Phedre is apprehended by the manifestation of Joscelin's fearplot . And, as usual, he comes to her rescue.

I have tried and tried to push this fear from my mind, to bury myself in other things. In training, in work on our treehouse, in exploring and hunting.
