So once again, I haven't updated regularly. But we've had some great rides. My first ride after this past post was a trail ride! He did sooo good too! Maille was having some malfunctions - spooking at... 'forward', 'move shoulders', and 'move haunch'. As well as picking feet. Then took him out to the arena and made him do it in a big space. So poor Griff :P We'll see about tonight, its getting COLD!
...as it pains me to do this (because I love this saddle!), I unfortunately have to part with it. It was purchased roughly 8 years ago, but its been in storage for the past 3 years, as I have stopped jumping. It DOES have some usage on it. It's rubbed where the stirrup leathers would fall (but you can't see anything once a rider is in the saddle) and scratched a bit underneath the flaps, but that's...
I have been riding for 4 years and when ever I have gone to horse shows whether it be Jumpers or Hunter Jumpers I find myself asking. "How do they know which jump to go to next on the course?" I feel like...there is an order in which to go but how do you know/remember which one comes next? I know when my bf races his quad there are tags on the trees to show you where to go lol... please educate me!
... the sky has to be either the bluest of blues with fluffy white clouds, or a slate gray, with a notion of snow in the air...the kind of sky that makes you think of Thanksgiving, and football, and kids jumping into piles of those crunchy leaves. Then when I walk inthe house, I want to smell something yummy. If i'm too lazy to bake some of my fall favorites like homemade brownies, or pumpkin bread...
...photographs resulted. Flying Lunil! And Sarah, she is growing lots! Much bigger than Bil all of a sudden! The rest of the photos ar e here, including some rather fetching ones of Mark jumping the log too! On the domestic front, our loo has been out of action since Thursday evening, which is fun! Of course, we haven't been able to get hold of our landlords until Sunday afternoon, as...
... which forced him to shorten his stride when he was being dumb, in the end we did canter, just once, on his good lead [to the left actually]. Yesterday Amanda came and video taped us cantering and jumping! That's because Moni set up a jump exercise for us on Friday - two poles to a cavaletti with a 'push' to get him to jump, which he did! And did well!! So we kept doing that, concentrating on straightness...
Spoons got me! I'm sorry I haven't been on much guys. I'm determined to pass all my classes this year, and that means kicking up my chemistry grade T.T I've also been trying to write on any of my... And jump four feet upon horseback. OH! And finish a cosplay. 20. What should you be doing right now? Homework but ssshhhhh... 21. Pop? Jazz? Classic? Swing? Others? Anything but country, babeh
Hopefully this hasn't been posted here before, but I've never seen it until now and I wanted to hear other's opinions: http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5jK-l2e8_i0uucw_t5oXm4j7oKQYQ So...hmmm....Beerbaum had no objections. My main thought is that there has got to be a better way than this to get the sport more recognition, c'mon now. Anyone have any ideas how? Or thoughts in general
So....I finally uploadeda video of myself bungee jumping 60 meters which is about nearly 198 feet. Amazing huh? Most of my friendslove the way I am, I'm just fucking daring and most females probably would have their periods early if they do the crazy shit I do. I don't know what makes me do these adventurous things, is it for the thrills? Yes. Is it the adrenaline rush? Yes. Is it to challenge against...
