-Flails- I've been randomly selected for jury duty. Crapcrapcrap! I have two final art critiques that day! Have e-mailed teachers; am waiting for a response. -collapses in a puddle-

"Jurors will not be needed Thursday and Friday. Your service is complete. Your checks and certificates will be mailed to you. Thank you for your service." I didn't even do anything. A grand total of three...ever participated in a trial? This puzzles me, actually. Here's the real question, though. With all the accused awaiting trials every day, how is it that jurors are summoned ... and not needed

So I went this morning to court, like the dutiful citizen that I am. I stood up to go aside and ask if I could be excused, because I was told my line of job would excuse me... naa! nop! I had to sit... Woo hoo! So... 2pm, already ate lunch... and I'm thinking about crashing on bed for an hour or two.  I AM SOOO TIRED I didn't sleep well last night. And so, I did my civil duty. me ou

Yep, Jury Duty, and I get to report in about 45 minutes.  At least it's in walking distance from my house.  *sigh*

If there really was a Hell, I'd be standing on the edge. My car died. And I keep getting the same lame-ass phone monkeys when I contact Wells Fargo about what to do now. Could I please speak to someone... I have the Evo @ 11 recording Wednesday night, possibly Gangplank 's podcast too. I have a Podcamp workup on Saturday and I have Jury Duty next Monday. I cannot WAIT for this month to be over

So, I came to the conclusion over the weekend that I was going have to do the very low carb thing for a while to get my blood sugar back on track.  punkmom  and I are doing a "protein fast", which...continue screwing around with it.  Now, if I can just get back on the treadmill tomorrow...which depends greatly on whether or not I have jury duty tomorrow.  Call in between 11 a.m. and noon.  

I just realised that 2 people who I was friends with on LJ and facebook have defriended me on both. I guess it is my fault, I'm not good at "friendship" still, it kinda hurts a bit. *sigh* blue blue...get these fleeting glimpses and realisation that I'm so fucking miserable and the only thing holding me together is a little fucking green pill. this isn't how we planned it. Well, my stint house-sitting is finally at an end, and I come out of it $450 richer. I also managed to get called for jury duty, and picked, during the same week, so not only did I get to enjoy a power...want to take taiko. So, I'll just have to get over it. I'm also thinking of joining a dance group, so I'm going to grab some information about that while I'm at the festival. Horray for autumn

So today or should I say this morning was interesting, I had to go to the court house for my jury duty orientation. That's right people I am on Jury Duty. School At last, I finally managed to finish writing my mid-term for my Ethics class. I honestly don't know why I chose to write a paper on Plato and justice... I could have had an easier time writing...Hall of Justice again... I had to go to the Civil Courts in January when I was summoned as a juror. Ah! So that's why I chose to write a paper on justice!! I was influenced by this event. *laughs*
