Well, I'm painting my nails for my Halloween costume for tomorrow, which leaves me with few options. Typing is the only thing I can do with wet nails that won't ruin the polish, so.... I boughtSalvation...was nice that all the villains had something about them showcased. Oh, and unlike many of the JLA comics I have, I could actually keep track of the characters. It gets stars just for that in my book
Ahead... Decided to not mix politics and my LJ anymore. I just don't care for it and besides, I've got another place I hit for my mega-indepth political fix. There's no arguing with the other side which...most folks have done more than their fair share of scrolling here. *G* I want to get back to the imporant things in life...looking for slash in my favorite TV shows and having a blast doing it
We need more cartoons like the Justice League Unlimited. After putting in the Incredible Hulk dvd, where my dad refused to skip past the previews, we were force-fed every single animated venture on Marvel's...cartoons taking on a serious storyline that matches or even beats out anything that the Justice League Unlimited had to offer. More substance than style. Stories that make you think and ask questions

What really got me (apart from Bryan Hitch's gorgeous, lush artwork) is the third story in this issue, where J'onn J'onzz teaches an alien species how to rediscover the wonders of flight and freedom.
