...want more. Twilight is not out of my system, but I have manged to get into The Witching Hour. :) It's a pretty long book, so it will keep my brain entertained for a good while. That, plus a few Kabbalah books that I ordered. It's definitely fascinating, but I'm going to take it one book at a time so I can get a better feel for which direction I want to head in. "If someone throws a ball and it crashes through a window, do we say that the ball broke the window or that the person throwing the ball broke the window? Clearly, the primary mover is the source of... we simply need to open our eyes and our ears to experience what is happening right here and right now." - David A. Cooper ( Invoking Angels: For Blessings, Protection, and Healing )

Keter is the closest to the root, being the first arising of the impetus to manifestation, and is therefore designated as 'good.' Gershon Winkler ( The Place where You are Standing is Holy )
"If someone asks you: 'What is God?' answer: 'He who is in no way deficient.' If he asks you: 'Does anything exist outside of him?' answer: 'Nothing exists outside of Him.' If he asks you: 'How did He...perfection of the Impenetrable which is one with En Sof ' [ Ecclesiastes 7:16 ]." - Azriel of Gerona (quoted in " The Origins of Kaballah " by Gershom Scholem)
"You can mend the cosmos by anything you do—even eating. Do not imagine that God wants you to eat for mere pleasure or to fill your belly. No, the purpose is mending. Sparks of holiness intermingle...the material world. There is no path greater than this. For wherever you go and whatever you do—even mundane activities—you serve God. — Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev ( Kedushat Levi )

So, I got to the wedding yesterday evening (after driving through the Valley forever and then most of Topanga Canyon) and didn't know a soul there. Actually, that's not exactly true, the souls I did know...and took the PCH to Santa Monica and then up to the 10 Freeway and over to the 5 and up to the 110 North into Pasadena. Got home around 11:30 or so. A nice night. Every man and woman is a star
