Yesterday, after failing to achieve a rested state for some time, I decided I had better go to a museum. I have been here for a while and, excluding a brief, 1/2 hour experiment, failed to suck up any...displayed collection. I spent a bit longer than my previous half hour at the Kemper Contemporary museum. (Contemporary ~ simpler art) It was an exhausting day. I finished it up with some Wendy's

Melanie and me waiting for Anything Goes (starring our favorite Rachel York) at the Starlight Theatre to start. We flew in to Kansas City for a day just to see the show, and it was great...for her, so she came out, signed my playbill, posed for a picture, remembered my pen exploding on her and chatted with us for a few minutes. It was just really fun. We hope to do it again some time.

I am not feeling top notch, but not quite middle notch, either. So... Today I conducted an exercise, gauging the feasibility of riding a bicycle to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and Design. ranjtheobscure 's memorial is on Friday July 3rd. I'm flying to Kansas City on July 2nd (arrive at 7:55pm) and returning to Seattle on July 4th (leaving at 6:30pm). I'll be staying with ... , it might be a long shot but it would be great to meet you in person while I'm in the area too. I hope I didn't miss anyone, but if I did accept my humble apologies and thwap me so I remember you.

Has anyone else received a letter from Kansas City, stating that they didn't pay their city income tax (the 1% earnings tax) for XX number of years and now they owe XX number of dollars? I've had to give...city, and now it makes me wonder what they were doing with the money I paid them in the first place? It's increasingly frustrating, and the personnel in the Collections office are non too helpful
