Safe to say, without this album (or Sonic Youth for that matter) there most likely wouldn't have been Polvo, Ikara Colt, or Urusei Yatsura. Overall, I really like Daydream Nation. It's a pretty noisey album but thankfully not noise for the sake of noise. Teen Age Riot and Eric's Trip are classics. I guess...
