Our schedule is mostly the same - 1:20 and 4:15 on Friday; 7:30 (groan), 12:55, and 5:30 on Saturday (that'll be a long day); and 9:25 on Sunday, then hopefully some later games on Sunday if we make the...started, but I'm glad we got in a last practice with a full team of women. I'm nervous about our first game tomorrow - our best goalie won't be there, and we'll only have five people, so no subs
I've read that marathon runners sometimes unintentionally sabotage themselves. They'll spend months training for a race, then decide a day or two before the race is the perfect time to try snowboarding...was trying to keep us warm), and today I am SORE! We have our last pre-tournament polo practice tonight. I'm really hoping it's mellow, but that seems unlikely. Everyone is kind of crazed right now
This may change, but here's the tentative schedule for this weekend's tournament, should any of you want to come watch. We had five women at polo today, so we had a full team and got to play together almost the whole time. It was fun. Weird to think that the whole tournament will be over this time next week. If you're interested...the end I was just running through people's yards trying to keep up with her, and I finally cornered her on someone's porch - I can't believe no one called the cops on us. What an exciting life I lead

Man I love it up here, i am so tempted to talk them into giving me a job and just staying here... maybe next season i can come stay up here for a a season.. my kayaking is heaps improved and even though i swam today i am really happy with it. it is bizarre than i am in a remote village in nepal and they have internet up here. anyway i have to go, cos i am getting...
Last night I had my second tournament-related nightmare. Oddly, neither dream involved kayaks - in both, the game was more similar to water polo, so were swimming. Weird.
Yesterday I went out with Coach Dan on the canal at his home. It was a beautiful crisp fall day, brilliantly sunny and about 50 degrees F. I was thankful for my farmer john wetsuit and thermal shirt,... I was getting a good recovery, and the boat was absolutely flying . It was like a “Rode Super Blue” day in cross country skiing. I love that feeling.
