More drivel from a proud Momma! It isnt often my two kidlings compete against each other since their schools are in different districts. Birdville Hawks (School for oldest kidling) is a 4A and Weatherford...busting my seams with pride at both schools!  Next weekend is UIL competition so the two schools wont be competing against each other as UIL uses the district ranking system not band size system.

Oldest Kidling is taking art classes in school and has a summer project of pencil sketching backyard nature. So with this in mind we went out yesterday after the rain and took several pictures of things... Oldest kidling and I took this pic for the bark, vine and ivy contrast and then saw that some "ladybugs" were in the picture too! Seems the aphids love the ivy, and they are great for the plants
