Tonight I went to the gym for the first time in a month since my really "awesome" injury.  I could only ride the bike (alas!) but it felt nice.  One of my favorite feelings in the world is opening the...get back to my paper on the Guns of August .  Which reminds me, King Albert of Belgium was a pretty cool motherfucker.  For serious.  I'm having a love affair with a dead monarch from World War I . 

Lavitz is gone... Died trying to save his king... Ironic that the man who won the 'Heroes Competition' was the one to slay him. And that sword... I should have realized that that man had the Dragon Buster...next Dragoon of the Jade Dragon, and so his majesty has decided to join us. It's probably because he wants to avenge his friend and get the Moon Gem back, but it's going to be odd traveling with a king

King Albert of Basil has been captured by Sandora... We were just leaving town when a badly wounded Knight of Basil came looking for Lavitz. Haschel had to knock him out. I don't blame Lavitz getting...that Bale is under occupation, and King Albert gave himself over willingly. It looks I'll be joining in on a rescue mission to save a king. That is, if we can keep Lavitz calm when he finally wakes up
