Sort of good news...Jesse L. Martin will co-star in a mid-season drama on NBC called The Philanthropist. From zap2it : The show centers on Teddy Rist (James Purefoy), a billionaire who uses his wealth...at a waterpark with the in-laws (including the brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews). Did I mention I detest waterparks, especially the indoor type? Hope to post before we leave..

This week has been wonderful godawful. But only as far as school work goes. I had a Latin test Monday, and I definitely flunked it. Awww... our girl is going to be on L&O:CI. So ok, she's guesting (again. boo. when is someone going to hire her for a regular gig?) and she may be the baddie of the ep, but she will be beautiful and gorgeous... couldn't Jeff Goldblum use a new partner? Not that I dislike the cute little redhead, but wouldn't Janel make an interesting partner for him? *I* think so. Shaddup. I like living in my fantasy world. ;)

I missed the earlier showing of today's season finale, but being a bit of a night owl (isn't that a funny phrase, "night owl?" ), I got to see most of it anyway. My reactions: Wow. Eeew? Aha, eureka...with the subtle, subtextual side too). Also, Alex/Bobby shippers frustrate me. Grasping at straws, much? It ain't gonna happen, sorry, kids. I'm looking forward to Jeff Goldblum next season :D

My head is killing me. :( Saw this lamp on debgeisler 's livejournal from and fell in love. Jeff Goldblum is joining the cast of Law & Order Criminal Intent. I'm so excited. I love VDO/Goren... Her mother and sister-in-law never heard of Morgan Le Fay (not that she'll be in the shower, but I was trying to think of names of famous fairies). Three days! Now, I'm off to track down some Tylenol.

Nobody on the flist is posting much about the Beijing Olympics. Usually I'm not a fan of the Opening and Closing ceremonies, but I watched the entire thing on Friday night. It was stunning...both technically...for the US in shot put, and we met a Team USA javelin thrower named Nicole Carroll who was in the stands talking to family. She signed our tickets: Michael Johnson and The Shoes of Gold.
