We're reaching that time of the year when the days are growing ever shorter and my energy level crashes to match. A couple of nights this week I stayed up late (or got poor sleep) but surprised myself...are things that have to be in place before October's Green Ronin Summit! I am off to Vegas for the weekend. I actually have never spent any real time there. It's lame but I did go there once for the day, to attend a business meeting. I had to fly back that night and work...will probably check out some club Saturday night. I really wanted to see Prince, but he isn't performing in Vegas any more. That was so last yearI suppose. Then it's off to Russia on Monday. Crazy
Flights went well; never again will I buy beer at JFK: $7+ for warm Corona! At the Bellagio water show, I liked "Hey Big Spender" best. Vegas and Burning Man are a lot alike, except for relationship...more than usual this year; really enjoyed myself; left a good dose of "control" behind, which was lovely. um... that's it for now, at least until I remembermore stories / find pictures. Yesterday: Had an exciting day of rehearsal for Archy and Mehitabel. My acting coach has invited several Hollywood casting agents this time and the top Vegas critic (I have no idea who this person is)...had to get the issue cleared up and everything is fine. A restaurant job isn't a restaurant job without a bit of drama, I guess. I hope to be hanging up my apron soon. Pushing forward, pushing hard
