Hi, I'm a newbie to using menstrual cups but bought the Femmecup a week or so ago and have been trying it out on this period. Up till now things have gone pretty smoothly, once I found the 7 fold and experimented...heard that several women find it helps with their cramps which is why I bought it in the first place and up till now it's also helped me to ignore the fact that I'm on a period. Thanks in advance
I've had my Diva Cup - size two - for a while now... I've only used it two cycles because I can not seem to insert it on my own, but my DH is quite willing to help me out with that... the problem is...back up pad I've been wearing. What are we doing wrong? Should I try another type of cup? Since I hate tampons and pads and I would love to get this to work... any suggestions would be great.
I've found you people on this list so helpful in my menstrual cup learning curve I'd like to share some of my experience in the hope that it will be helpful to others. I'm 50, have a very heavy flow...the back of the C up the vagina gently until it goes past the bone and then inserting the rest. I found this advice very helpful, worked like a dream. Thanks again to all the listees out there
How do you know if a certain cup or size isn't right for you or if you're just inserting it wrong? I got the Diva and tried it out for the first time today. I put it in and took it out so many times...if I'm not getting the suction or what. Thanks for your help! I'll be so excited if (when) I can get the hang of this. I was so disappointed to have to get out my pads and tampons again today :
I have done some skimming through the memories and stay pretty up-to-date with recent posts, but I have yet to hear about this specific leaking issue (but maybe I just missed it, idk =/). After inserting... I'm not sure how to avoid this, I've been having to use panty liners until it stops. Which it always does, and then I'm completely leak-free. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone find solutions
Hi All, I recently lost about 40 lbs pretty quickly. I've been using the Diva (larger size) for at least 6 months with no issues. Now, for the past 3 cycles, it seems to be either slipping or sitting...(even though it's clear) cause it to ride so low? Thanks for any help or info you may have!! It's because of this site that I actually tried the cup & am ticked not that I didn't do it years ago
I've used my keeper for two cycles (I've had it for 4 months but keep losing it, which tells you how organized I am. :D) The troubles I have with it are for one, when it pops open I feel as though it is...I've considered trying a different cup for my heavy days like the diva, but I fear the learning curve since I'm already have so much trouble with the keeper.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
I had meetings most of the morning at work yesterday so, paying attention to the little grummbly feeling heralding imminent shark attack, I put my new MCUK large size in before starting to bleed, so I...bit frustrated because it is much harder to get in and has not opened once without me having to swirl the finger around it. I am sore!! But I think I should be able to solve it with this one, hopefully
Hi! I'm back. I finally got my divacup in all the way with absolutely no discomfort at all. This is the first time I've managed that, so I feel quite pleased. However, I'm experiencing some leakage, and i'm not sure why. There's no discomfort, so i assume i've gut it in properly... any advice?
