I'd hoped to get a LiveJournal idol entry up this week, but I just don't have time--there's still a lot for me to get done between now and tomorrow night (hello, coffee cup)--hence, bye.

Dreams are where ghosts live; the powerlessness of night lifts the veil between past and present, allowing them to find me again. Darkness reveals truth, and here I cannot hide. She was born in Sweden in April of 1979, the second child of teenage parents. She already had an older sister, five years older than her. Two years after her, she became a big sister to fraternal twins...that it was almost as if they were never there at all. I still miss her. That is one thing which will never change. When I was in my early college years, still living at home, our family lived through a personal haunting experience. The Ghost Hunter guys, Jason, Grant, Steve, et. al, were barely out of the play pen...and the nurse, our home became amazingly quieter and normal at night once more. Grandma always maintained that telling the truth was the right thing to do, and she needed us to know all the facts. P

In my family, ghost stories are passed down generation to generation like some families pass down heirlooms. Poor as my family was, they had little else to bestow besides this rich, unique story-telling...wind down the generations, becoming more valuable with each passing. Better than huge estates or glittering diamonds, my daughter's inheritance of a rich family history of story-telling lives on

I grew up thirty minutes from the Rip Van Winkle Bridge, which crosses the Hudson amidst the Catskill mountains. It is named for that nagged old lazy man who slept away his wife's existence, the creation...at any time is a rare event.
