I talked with my dad today about using his frequent flier miles to travel down to New Zealand in the late summer; he let on that he has plenty to give me, so that I may have a free round-trip flight. ...for "no."  Now all I have to do is wait. I also need to remember to look into the exact costs of studying abroad, and see if I could actually afford to go to New Zealand regardless of a free flight.

Okay, so I was planning on getting a ton of stuff done on my days off work, like writing fic, taking care of the ironing that's been piling up, cleaning out the bathroom etc, etc, and guess what? I caught...all these emo kids? [EDIT] They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard! Did someone on my friends list post a link to this before? I can't remember so I'm sharing it here because it gave me the lulz.

No matter how many times I see it, LotR never fails to impress me. Especially the battle of the Pelennor fields. I love Theoden. I love Eomer and Eowyn. The scene where Theoden rides across the frint line...amazing. And the sunrise behind them *happy sigh* And then of course the Oliphants show up and you go "Oh crap!" even theough you know how it's gonna end anyway. Did I mention I love this movie? ^__
