So, after reading through Massively's overview of the Moria Preview at PAX, I'm more and more excited about this expansion. There are basicallytwo things I'm most excited about with this expansion. First...also a legendary trait associated with each set, but the article wasn't clear how exactly that will work. All in all this is really an epic expansion. Very much looking forward to it this November
Hit level 10 on LOTRO today and still playing as I type this out, currently just waiting for a group to go do a quest. As mentioned I'm playing a Minstrel which is pretty cool so far I also selected my profession to be an explore which means Tailoring, Forestry and Prospectoring so I can craft armour for myself. Had a go at crafting some light leather armour which is an MMO landmark for me because...
K and I have temporarilymoved in with his mom while waiting for (cross fingers) this job in Virginia to materialize. His interview went very well, so here's hoping. My scanner's in storage in the meantime... but I'm thinking of trying out a couple of other races/classes as well. Still playing the hell out of Morrowind, though haven't settled on a new character yet. Octavius is definitely retired
So I continued today working on the next couple of epic quests. Book 9 and 10 brings you out to Evendim , particularly Annuminas , the ruined city of the now fallen Northern Kingdom . I would have loved...getting a taste of that type of battle and architecture here in Evendim with Annuminas. P.S. Looks like LJ finally fixed their code with the hyperlinks to work with Firefox 3. It's about time.
...YOU MAKE ME ANGRY, REPUBLICAN PARTY. I constantly have to remind myself that not all Republicans are big business, opportunistic assholes and you're making it REALLY HARD FOR ME. Conservative and moderate people on my flist, you're all good people and are not big business, opportunistic assholes. ffffff. Muffinz isn't around so I'm going to look at D&G shoes and either nap or LotRO. Mmm, LotRO.
I just finally finished the set of epic quests that came with the release of LOTRO. All 8 books are now officially crossed off my list. I'm now know as "Jaxom Dragonrider, Light from the Shadow." At least for a time. My favorite title is still Lord of Fangs. Now I have Books 9 through 14 to do before Mines of Moria comes out in a couple months.
...Online. When I started playing, I told myself that I would likely play for a bit and then lose interest in it like I do every other game I have tried. But I didn't realize how slippery a slopeLOTRO would be for me. SomehowTurbine has managed to create a game that holds MY attention span. As sad and geeky as it is that I have 2 chartacters that are almost capped out on level (one who is an...
The more I learn about the way different guild's are structured, the more I feel my own kinship in LOTRO is something fairly unique. One could delve into the cliches of hardcore and casual, which we're very much the latter, but I don't think that's appropriate. We're a group because we share similar values. That's not that unusual, but the lack of formalizing those values could very well be. We don't...
So, simply because I feel like it, I'm going to talk about the skills for my Captain in LOTRO. I read something about skills in WoW and they mentioned many of the skills trained were simply upgrades to lower level skills. Not sure how accurate that is, but it seems to me I have a lot of different skills at my disposal. For those of you who play WoW, you can comment on that if you'd like. I always enjoy...
