After seeing the newly raised price of parking passes (nearly $200), I decided to ride my bike to class every day from Will's apartment. This saves both the money and the gasoline that going back and...zooming out. I only focus on what needs to be done at any particular moment, and what I need to do next. In this way, everything gets done and doesn't drive me to distraction by seeming so enormous.
I'm going to be at Cedar Point for the next 2 days (Monday and Tuesday) all day. So if you live nearby or are planning on going, e-mail me (jennifer@visitsawd.org) and we'll exchange cell numbers (if... 5 People You Meet in Heaven made me want to cry. I really loved it. I'm starting Thirsty by M.T. Anderson next, and then after that, his book Feed . I'll let you know when I finish. PEACE
Yes, that's right. The last two times I've been in a REAL bookstore: The midnight release of Deathly Hallows, and last night. Of course, I was a happy little freak and had to restrain myself, and managed... as it's been on my shelf for a couple of months... HM. LATER.) THANKS FOR THE BOOK NAMES, MAGGIE!!! I had to go into the Athens campaign HQ on Prince Avenue and help take everything down and pack it away with all of the other crying volunteers. Awful.
I am so very relieved to be back in Athens. The conference was informative, and I found myself (particularly during the session on feminist perspectives in music therapy) very engaged in thinking about...sociable and very irritating. We stopped in Auburn on the way back home last night, and I would just like to state for the record that we will now be referring to it as Athens West. Because it is.
Ugh, please excuse my foolish cowardice from before. I was thinking as the Mock Turtle and not as myself. Oh yeah, M.T. was a name I was described with in the sixth grade by the first girl to ever be kind...display of idiocy was to imagine Pam there again yelling at me and punching me until I "shut the hell up". Heh, she was a total Yanki. Shame bout that,... Anyways, Be loved because you are! Ten-chan
