Done in Google Maps. Haven't been around much - have I? Concentrated visits here and there around the place I lived at a certain time. All on one page... [sigh] *dreamily* Still so much to do and so many things to see! EDIT: It's funny how right now I live at the same parallel as Greece, but winters are freaking cold here. I liked Texas... [sigh]
For a while, I was convinced that the Bay Area had the convenient property that a degree of latitude was about the same distance on the ground as a degree of longitude. This is wrong, and it should have...about 77% as wide as it is high. It's not quite the same ratio as the map actually called for, but it's close enough that you have to be paying more attention than I was to notice that anything is wrong
O joy! Look at this bus schedule ! Look at it! And it starts on November 23rd - it'll already be running when I get back! Route 89 Bedford: Google Map , Diagram , Schedule OK, it's only an hourly...money now so that I don't have to work full-time again soon, but it's still nice to know that I have the option. Ah, bliss! Now the longest part of my walking to school will be our driveway... =
My day was boring for the exception of Japanese class, which was great. Had to go back to Sylvan today, where once again I'm bored and try to contemplate a life in Asia or Europe... The Sylvan I go to...personality, sometimes I'm too apprehensive. Maybe that's a good thing Well, I have to redraw half of the Hokkaido region on my map after I miscalculated the proportions. I will get it done though..
I was contacted yesterday by our friend whose farm we keep our horse at. She had been alerted by someone to the fact that there were a fewpictures of her farmland, taken by me, which had been submitted...Isles project, said: "We don't feel that potentially dated photographs are a contributory factor in horse thefts. Can somebody tell me if this has been done before? A site with a huge map of the world (think GoogleEarth scale), where people can add tags freely of what a place means to them? Like, "Park bench in...ever kiss" Or "Milk bar on Alfred Street, met my best friend" Or "Intersection of 55th and 3rd, we said goodbye" Or "Piazza Bra, thought I'd never see you again" Seriously, has it been done
Here's my latest electoral map (cartogram). With only twelve days untilthe election, patterns now established are going to be harder to break. *** West Virginia, New Hampshire and Nevada...back then were much less accurate), and Al Gore won a lot more votes than any of the polls suggested he would in 2000 (although that was probably last-minutedecisions by a lot of Nader voters).
