The thing about living together is that nothing ever remains secret from each other for too long. Our individual stash of the things reminiscent of ex-loves before we met each other - the yellowed photos...shelf, which is kinda bizarre if you think about it. How apt it is that Halloween is just round the corner ;) I hope they can all live in peace together, like I have learnt to with them over time
The Hubby has been suffering my mood swings for a good part of the month, so yesterday was a good break for a family outing to Sentosa. Prepared curried momo beef noodles for lunch. So, our Kenmore upright that we'd gotten as a wedding present finally bit the big bag of dust and cat hair, so we knew we had to get a new one. Cynra & I went to the Sears outlet here in town on Saturday...a great bluffer. The unexpected heavy downpour last night made us call off our individual grand plans to paint the town red but in exchange, we had a relaxing, quiet night together. Dinner was at an old humble haunt... Foops was singing silly radio ditties in his horrific-ly outlandish Singaporean slang for me all morning, making me choke a little on my beehoon... Aye, and we are halfway through the week already
A) Saw episode 5 of No Heroics. The hackneyed "guy goes to a support group and makes fun of everyone else there" bit gets pulled out with Timebomb. She Force has a secret identity that she uses to keep... Shit. "Do not drink alcoholic beverages." Just a beer with dinner should be fine, eh? That was three hours ago. [Arg, this is what happens when you indulge in one too many naps in the day and then still manage to doze off way before your usual bedtime... you inadvertently get up at 5am and have no idea what to do...glad some of that magic seemed to have rubbed off on a certain someone :) Shoot, I forgot to shout my usual 'Smile, honey!'... Looks like he really does need that reminder every.single.time!
Okay so it's been a gazillion years since I've posted. Ive been working my ass off, as Cassandra said, because I'm doing everything by myself because Alex is out of work. I'm doing this wedding thing by...is so much better. I'm trying to go really fast because I don't know if Alex is done yet or not. I got my mail in ballot in the mail! I've voted for Barack Obama already! wooot!!! stay stars, lovelies.
