cleaning up!

I have an awful lot of stuff laying around my studio that I would like to clear out.  If any of this stuff interests you please contact me! I am not in the habit of making corsets, but when I do try I...I can cut this into a length or if you like I can calculate how much I have left if you want to buy the rest. Or if anyone wants to buy all of it I will sell it for $30 excluding the roll of lacing

Alternative to E6000 glue?

Sooo.. apparently, I need to stop making automatic assumptions that my country looks out for my best health interests. I've been using E-6000 to affix Swarovski crystals to corsets on the recommendation...manufacturer of E6000 uses perchloroethylene which, yup, causes cancer. So, uh...does anyone out there recommend a safer adhesive to use that is just as strong? I kinda don't want to get cancer

10" spoon busk

I am hoping to make an underbust corset with a spoon busk closure - but the perfect length for me is 10" and I have not found one that short - 11" seems to be the shortest I can find.  Does anyone know...Chest, and Lacis.  Anyone I missed? I suppose I could get an 11" and trim it down.  I have cutters that will cut my boning, and tipping fluid.  Does that sound like a reasonable option? Thank yo

eyelets - Le prevo and Atwells

Hi, I just got the eyelets (grommets...I mean the two-part thing) from le prevo, the 200 size. And the eyelet setter. I must say I am rather dissapointed. The eyelets split after setting them, they don't...also wondering about that ebay site somebody mentioned here once), please tell me. I have tried to search the archives but LJ is either stupid or I just cannot really do any searching here. Thanks

A Question About Fabric Suppliers

Hello! I had a question for everyone about where is a good place on the 'net to find taffeta in a wide range of colors and textures. I know that HouseFabric.com has a wide assortment of crepe back satin...life storefront sellers, if they happen to be in the Indianapolis area. Thanks for reading : ) This has been cross-posted to a couple of places, so apologies if you are seeing this more than once

I just finished my first experimental mock up with cane instead of metal boning, and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised! It's lightweight, very bendy (only in one direction, like flat steels) and...piece)... Would any one be interested in a comparison with the same corset made up with spiral boning, as I may do this just for interests sake :) Hope someone is interested in this other than me! Luthie
