I thought I would do another Picspam (In order) since the last one was such a hit. This one is from the season 2 episode, Maternity Leave , which aired after One of Them . I figured I would try to...pages of... Are you the genius, or are you the guy who always feels like he's living in the shadow of a genius? I just don't understand why you let the doctor call the shots.

I'm only 11 weeks, but I'm already starting to think about what I'm going to do with myself after the baby is born.  Where I live, I believe I get 35 weeks of parental leave while getting paid %55 of my...case it matters, I have 2 undergraduate degrees and a post bacc, and 5 years of experience working full time for about 8 organizations as their Volunteer Management Director/Volunteer Coordinator. 

I've been having massive braxton hicks contractions at the end of my day... blergh. Anyone else? They tend to go away when I'm sitting but when I'm walking/waddling about oh LORDY my tummy is as tight...around 9 months off, and managed to piggy back a few different leaves so that it's paid for whole lot. Any one else working? When are you planning on finishing up and how long are you taking off? :

Okay! Doctor's appointment yesterday went well. I got to hear Ember's heartbeat, and was able to record it on my phone and text it to Isaac. :) I had them check for amniotic fluid because I was all...!!! Sometime end of may, early june. Regina is going to plan it. As much as we don't get along... she likes doing shit like this so I think she's genuinely excited to plan it. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!! :

A couple of days after I found out about being pregnant, I started spotting - fresh, pink blood, but only a little bit and only in the mornings. The first time I found it, I started crying. The second...the complaining and panicking I can do in one sitting. I'm going to go watch X-Files on DVD and wait for DBF to come home from his night out partying so I can beat the crap out of him. Cross posted to uk_pregnancy . Hi all. Just had a meeting with my boss. Just been made redundant. I know I'm not the only one. But being pregnant gives me minimal chance of getting into work again and it means I'll have no maternity leave. Completely destroyed. I just don't know what, if there is anything, to do. Anyone experienced the same?

I'm going to need to address my maternity leave from work soon. I originally wanted to work right up until the end. I'm due June 4th, so I figured I work till the end of May. I know 1st babies average...stability and consistency for my students even if it is only for the last 2-3 weeks of school. For those of you who are pregnant, how long before your due date are you taking your maternity leave

i'm 35w3d and have been lurking here since i became preggo. i'm loving being preggo and only gaining 6 pounds...the weight has transferred so i'll be skinnier once i have my lil girl. crazy...my mom made...up having to split the cost with her and we did it on a $140. decorations/food/favors/and gifts....im damn proud of myself. at least with my moms and aunts shower i wont have to worry bout a thing

Well, today at 1230 my maternity leave started.   I haven't given birth....but was forbidden from coming back into the building.  Which was hard for me the control freak that doesn't like to give up control...mother to change the other stuff.  BUT, our daughter can have our last name and that is exciting to us.  Someone told us we should name her Moon Shadow.  Thanks, but no thank you.  All is well here.
