...hardly see next door when I awoke. This morning it seemed to have cleared off some during the night, but now I'm smelling it again and looking outside, it's getting that foggy look. We all smell like smoke. The Mayflies have finally arrived! We've seen one or two before, but now they are ready to take you away if you stand still long enough. Smacking yourself in the head (and missing) is no fun!

...ANOTHER mayfly.  Did I tell you about the bugs?  There are A LOT of bugs.  Our Red Shirt person (Carol, she hates us...) she told us to close our windows when the lights were on, because the mayflies are attracted to the light, they swarm into your room.  It got so bad for some girls they had to move out of their rooms...  Terrible! Today's class was really good, but it's also slowly convincing...
