So, I've been thinking about McShep bdsm, which I read about as much of as I can get my hands on, and lately I've been noticing that sub!John seems to work a lot better in fic than sub!Rodney, and also to attract better writers shaenie  and isagel , for two, who are both brilliant), and this is mysterious to me, because I can make a case for either John or Rodney being a sub or a dom...
