I'm in the middle of a reasonably epic journey to Hometown. And all for a decent beer. This week has been the St Albans Beer Festival. By tradition my old company used to have a mass outing as it was...new A and B platforms that I last saw as a concrete pit through grimy windows. But 5 minutes (standing) on the rattling drafty noisy 319 reminded me why I moved. The windows are still grimy too

I have been blessed with two evenings of nom this week. One night I met up with an old friend who introduced me to Wahaca. This is an amazing place, mexican tapas served in a very Wagamama style.
