I'm sitting in the cafe in Tescos supermarket while Linda does some food shopping. We were just at the horse where Linda took a short ride, first time for a long time. Just down the hill and a bit, then...yesterday getting Jenny's hair done with the hairdresser... a test run before the wedding. And also some makeup. I spent the day sort of tidying the house, walking the dog and whatnot. Nothing exciting.

Meggie's been spending time getting accustomed to the pigs at the farm she stays at. It was because she got spooked by some pigs that Linda had the accident a few weeks ago. So they've put a bunch of pigs in the stable next door to Meggie's where she spends the night. She's now getting used to piggy noises. I took a picture with my phone the other day.

Our horse, Meggie, is a Connemara pony. Connemaras are a breed from western Ireland thought to be descended from Andalusians set loose when ships from the Spanish Armada ran aground in the late 1500's. Linda describes her ordeal: On Sunday morning I was leading my horse, Meggie, out to the field. It was windy so she was a little spooked. She then saw a pig which scared her as she hadn't seen it before, as we've only been there for 2 weeks. Somehow I fell (not sure if I slipped or I tripped over her or just couldn't hold her) in front of her. She did everything in her power to avoid standing on me...
