I've brought back my Etsy store ! Right now, there aren't any new items up, but I'm working on a couple of nice handknit pieces of clothing which should be up soon. Also, if you're somebody who relies...Lilo for years and years, and it felt like it was just time for a change. I'll have to decide whether I like this one, so it may change again in the near future, but I imagine I'll be settling down soon

Well, I’ve spent all of fifteen minutes upgrading from 2.7x to 2.8 on the server, including time to upgrade a handful...been limping along with a manually modified 1.x version of that from when the developer went AWOL… Now that the electronic house is in order, back to packing and getting the real life one in order.

Sorry for the lack of real posts here, guys. I think that what happened was that I wrote SO MUCH in the months and weeks before graduation that I can't find the energy to really do a lot more writing....the last several weeks of posts are nothing but Twitter. Besides, my Twitter account ( middlemuse ) has an RSS feed, so even if you're not on Twitter, it shouldn't be that hard to keep up, if you desire

Seeing a comment in someone else's LJ that you just know is ignorant and stupid and makes you reach for the reply button to deliver a tirade - and not doing it. Because it's not my LJ, the commenter neither knows me nor asked for my opinion. So I back off and write this, because I had to write something ....

I'm 'friends' here on LJ with a number of journals that I mainly just watch from a distance--people who don't even know I exist, or whatever. And, I just moved most of them over into Google Reader and...so lonely on my blog. I almost never get comments, and I can't see who's reading, apart from my webstats, which I never believe. Still, it's weird to think I might be moving on to a better interface

Let me describe my last hour to you: After commuting home by walking and bus from my tech job , I took out my recycling and drove my fuel-efficient car to Trader Joe's where I stocked up on...to the strains of The Grateful Dead whom I found after tuning away from a pledge drive on the NPR station that is my #1 radio preset. I am now typing about it on my Mac and posting it to my blog

I finished A Clash of Kings about half an hour ago, and I can say that this is one series I feel no urge to complete. There was a certain urgency in A Game of Thrones . Everyone is maneuvering politically...is apparently the week to change that. And lastly, I'm 21 now, although I doubt anything will directly come of that. For some reason, the past two or three months have been a perfect storm of Facebook friend requests. It probably started with the high school reunion back in October. I suddenly have 75+ friends on Facebook... consider joining the Facebook craze and friending me there. (Hooray, another made-up word: "friending". I love the English language.)
