I've finished the shako for my Prussian-stylemilitary outfit as some of you know, but I've been having second thoughts on the beauty. It sits fairly jauntily (don't ask how I managed this) on my head, but I'm worried about the over all tall and grandiose scale of it looking dorky (YOU WERE THINKING THE MARCHING BAND COMMENT TOO, DON'T LIE). I still like the shako and would gladly wear it in public...
I managed to get to sleep at a(n almost) decent hour and woke up this morning. I had an interview this morning with an investigator. Since my job requires a clearance, they had to meet with me to discuss..... well you know where! I only want to lose about 5 to 10 more pounds and then tone/strengthen the rest. And I know BMT will definitely amp the progress! Oh damn, my hot cocoa is getting cold...

Sorry that this one is a little late, but it’s a harder journal entry to make… On Saturday, October 26, 2008, Gunner Arielle Keyes-Oliver, was killed during a training accident when the armored truck...we shared. R.I.P Arielle. You were a gunner till the end and a wonderful person who touched the lives of everyone you met. I am grateful for the opportunity to have known you. We love you Keyes!
