Had a dream last night where I chased a bunch of ghosts out of a house and made it my home. Cool place, two stories, great view, shag carpet. Stylin! I invited a friend over to hang out. MLK shows up! Wearing a hoodie! But before we head in, I notice I've left my many pieces of luggage outside. So as I head over toward it, I ask, "Could you please help me bring..." He gets right up in my face, pinches...

I feel so exhausted... and I felt the same way yesterday. I think it's my fucked up sleeping patterns (sleeping late during weekends, waking up early for my morning classes). It's terrible and I need to...Limbeck. I found out about it while the show was going on (they weren't playing yet though). It was free so I biked at the CoHo (the school's coffeehouse)... super chill night, I really enjoyed it.
...didn't want any rumors of the two being together or something? so he's not a saint. (again, I still think he's amazing. my rants here are just the negative side.) also, if we're going to talk about mlk and his beliefs, why the hell does everyone ignore his antiwar statements. those are even more relevant in times like these, but because we're still straight in the middle of it, people disagree, so...
My Sister-In-Law sent me this: Knowing Meghan...you all know this is the blow by blow of this conversation and not elaborated.... In the car on the way home from rock climbing Meghan asked "Mom, yesterday... poignant yet to the point, she'll get that...... "Grammy has dark skin when she comes home from Florida...is she African American?" "No sweety, just tan" "Oh, then she can't be president!

Monday Today was MLK day so no classes had begun. I awoke and set out to get busy. Forgetting to pack towels i ventured out to buy new ones along with many other useful items that tickled my fancy. I then washed the towels...
I am in so much awe. I have an immense amount of respect for OUR PRESIDENT Obama. His speech was phenomenal; it really moved me. I had class this morning and the first thing our prof does is stop and told...yes, our President, Obama. Not Bush." Goodbye Bush, I hope you have a fabulous life as a citizen of Texas. And I truly mean that. Congratulations, President Obama! Now the hard work REALLY begins
Today, after the inauguration, a woman was interviewed about why she traveled from wherever to bring her kids to Obama's Inauguration...she simply said, that the day after the election she woke up her... "While you were asleep...Dr. Martin Luther King's dream came true." What better thing to say!! *complete side note...I must live close, I have seen 4 huge charter buses drive up and down my street
As you know (and you do know, because you're a friend of mine, which you wouldn't be if you didn't know), Barack Hussein Obama is going to be inaugurated as President of the United States of America in...I currently have any legitimate grasp of. I think this is the very reason choosing a major is such a difficult task - introductory courses have a way of making one feel terribly insufficient.
