Disturbia (2007) I love a good thriller. For instance, a few weeks ago I watched " Shallow Grave " and damn, but that movie was smart, quick, and full of suspense and thrills. Disturbia, in contrast...demograph. It seems to have a 7/10 rating on IMDB. Go figure. Summary: If you're over 25 and/or have any idea what it means to have responsibilities and bills to pay, you won't like this movie. :
WARNING-Also contains tangential spoiler for CoE Awesome movie. I feel like an idiot because hubby and I were talking about Peter Capaldi and how much we loved him this British TV show about the government...Hannah in McCallum, since we had our Scottish ears on already. Tomorrow I'm meeting pinglederry for Dim Sum. Squeeeeeeeeee!!! But I really need to do some dishes. Not so Squeeeeeeeee!!
ICE AGE The third (?) Ice Age film and it was just as funny as the first. I would definitely recommend this movie. It is not as some people might say 'disney animation', the humor is sometimes directly...we moved to inside the car. Next week (either Sunday or Monday) we are going to see UP and Harry Potter again. Not sure after that because I don't know if I can convince K to see G.I. JOE
OH hay fierce bitch! Matthew Goode is such a hot fuck omg! D: I hadn't watched any movies in a while but I felt nihilistic enough to watch Watchmen . DUDE ... if there was ever a movie that needed...y'all! LOL. Ugh I've been reading too many crappy news stories so right now my faith in humanity's inherent capacity for good is at an all time low. Movie needed MOAR of this hot bitch omfgggg
Two movie reviews here! First up is Battle League of Kyoto . It's a romantic comedy vaguely based on the concept of Pokemon. The main character is nice and rather every dude, but not the total loser... There are some disturbing moments, and lots of icky stuff is implied, but nothing atrocious happens on screen. Highly recommended (though 'Tower might wanna check with me for a specific warning.
This post contains one dead animal, and possible spoilers regarding TW and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Read at your own risk. We started the morning with CoE episode 4. The review is...of louiseroho and proceed to the next post. P.S.-So I've still got a finch who insists on laying eggs and is alone, but at least she's got a nest and nesting material and healthier food.
All right, here it is: my review of ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’! I’ve seen it seven times so far, the first five viewings on consecutive days. It started last week, when I went to the midnight...lots of humour as well. The acting is brilliant, and the setting of the Harry’s world is as convincing as ever. I feel this is the best Potter movie to date, so my rating is clear: 5 out of 5 stars.
1. Sam Raimi doing a Warcraft movie. Okay, this is more "WTF." I hope there are chainsaws involved... maybe wielded by dwarves... whose leader can be Bruce Campbell... 2. Gungrave properties just bought...the future. How many times are we going to see that scene play out (That was the worst part of the fourth movie, hahaha, which was probably my favorite of the movies). Lala... Yeah... -The Captai
Hoshiz guys, just got back from seeing HBP in theatres for the first time. First, let me get this out of my system. HOSHIT, IT WAS KICK-ASS AWESOME. *breathes* Okies. I feel better now. Just needed...puppy look was just--! Yeah. Draco was awesome in this movie. So yeah. Overall, this movie was amazing. I can't wait to see it again with someone who actually knows what's going on. HBP: 9/10 stars
So I saw three movies this weekend and I need to comment on all of them, duh! First, Big Talking Robots And Bimbo In Short Shorts or, “Transformers 2.” SPOILER! Optimus Prime gets killed... *GOOD HEAVENS allow me one more edit. Anyone who knows me can hear by inflection how completely tongue-in-cheek I am being when I call myself "the next JKR." It's a joke, yo. Because seriously
