I went to the midnight showing of Dark Knight , and I thought it was very good. It may even be my favorite Batman movie yet. My only complaint is that it was two hours and 30 minutes long, which is a...end. So, overall, no complaints from me. It was well acted, well directed, well written, and the special effects and action sequences were believable and awesome. I would recommend this film to anyone

Amazing. I loved it. It's twisted and dark and complex and human --everything that Batman should be. There were things I felt smart for figuring out before the characters (the address switch, the "social... I just watched Leave Her To Heaven . I don't understand the title. It should have been Watch Out! She's a Crazy Bitch! Seriously, I couldn't handle it. It was about as bad as when I watch General...my sister's liking. Which means that frosting makes my teeth hurt it's so sweet. I'm hoping there isn't too much drama on my end next week. I'm afraid there will be, but a girl can hope can't she?

It even holds up for the whole film, avoiding the usual problem of movies like this -- running out of material before the end of the movie. (It helps that the movie is only 100 minutes long or so.)

Mission Hill (1999-2000) - I'm not going to say very much about Mission Hill, since most of you out there probably don't find the subject very compelling after being subjected to the nine millionth...it's either very good or very bad. I will never know. Am I forgetting anything? Please let me know. Also, discuss animation in the comments section because it took me too damn long to write this
So Hellboy II was a fun little flick, with a couple of great lines ("I'm not a baby, I'm a tumour!"), one major unfortunate side effect – that dumb Barry Manilow song has been stuck in my head ever...reality. It's not as powerful or as intricate or beautifully put together as Pan's Labyrinth , but it's also a lot less troubling and wrenching, and not a bad way to spend an afternoon or evening
