I'm all packed and raring to go!  My story is still woefully only four pages done, but those four pages are pretty damn good and I'm going to work on it in the car on the way up!  Ah, my roomie needs to...home so we can head up to Phoenix!  I want to get the hell out of town already!  Why do I have about ten different outfits for a trip that's only three days long?  Ah!  Vegas!  Hope I don't die!!!

It's come up more than once, lately, in casual conversation and blog entries and other forums for meandering thoughts that we grow up and learn and live in a world of deadlines, and that maybe some attributes...or imperfect-bug-good-enough-to-be-abandoned projects that it feels like sometimes, everything in life becomes a destination. At least, I seem to err on the side of thinking along those lines.

I know how to fix this bug. All I need is someone to test it and confirm that I've fixed it. Those people appear to be in short supply. *sigh*

So Tuesday night I ended up rocking the somewhat sketchy and illegal with the highlights including taco bell. Then home at 3. Up at 10. I woke up still feeling sad and out of sorts. I continue to be... which is good since NaNoWriMo starts in like two days and so far I haven't gotten past my Moondog idea. And you know, it's unrelated but upsetting, I really want a Halloween Costume and has none. =

I don't say that I mark out a prima facie case of the insomniac because it is not a regular occurrence...and not-something are intangible for I know so; but from whence the twain and twin have come I am still working on it.
