I think I'm at 2 and 3? Anyway: these are both great movies. I reviewed them both at my lj , but in brief: "Persopolis" is an adaptation of the (awesome) graphic novel of the same name, and is the...recommend it to anyone who likes romantic comedies or like me is getting sick of lesbian relationships in film always seeming to fizzle out and/or end tragically etc. I came out VERY happy from this one :

Contemporary Iranian cinema is amazing . Here are just three examples -- the tip of the iceberg; there's a lot more to explore. Secret Ballot is about an election agent, an educated, modern, urban...find yourself grasping after a structure, but my advice with these films is to enjoy the moments and let them build into something greater at their own pace; you may find yourself pleasantly surprised
