We lighted the floor furnace this morning. I took a picture of the Jack-O-Lantern that I carved on Sunday for Halloween. The neighbors's dog that is pregnant joined me on the front porch and wanted attention. I petted her and ended up giving her a whole bag of treats that our dogs ended up not liking. Brandi was outside watching her eat before going inside. I got a picture of her too while I was outside...
Ah, one of my favorite weeks. Silly Halloween specials and horror movies on TV. Candy on sale. Halloween decorations. Bright leaves. Awesome Autumn nights. And that... feeling ...in the air. Fantastic...need to go shopping this week. I need to get a lot of ebay work done tonight - I've been lazy this month. Which means I'll get paid less. =\ But at least I can watch Halloween stuff while I work
A hard freeze is expected to hit the area tonight and the northern neighbors got a new puppy a few weekends ago. They have been known to keep their other three dogs outside during the worse times (they even did so while they went out of town during an ice storm). They have been keeping one of the two females inside since she is pregnant (she had two pups last winter and one died at birth). We are wondering...
My mother lives in an apartment building with a diversity of individuals surrounding her. The following is a list of the folks living in her building—as she sees them. (Please do not be offended if...the grievous crime of parking in the handicap place illegally), and then came back looking very angry. Neither the police nor a tow truck ever appeared and I think my mother needs to find a hobby.
There isn't a goddamn thing on TV. My fandoms aren't being updated. I have to remember to curb how much I put on my Amazon.com wishlist. And I have my window open because I need some air in my room, but...or may not eventually write for them, but I cannot, in good faith, think that there is more than one season, as the second one kinda sucked and the third one DOES suck IMHO. A few hours ago while I was watching an episode of Earth: Final Conflict and lounging around, I heard screaming. At first, I thought it was just some kids making nose. It was late, but it sometimes happens...to threaten someone's life with a firearm, apparently. The only thing tying me to this place is that I don't know if I could afford the utilities elsewhere, and the actual cost of moving itself
For the last several months, there has been this stupid white car parked out in front of our house. This is highly annoying, because that is the only parking spot by VW bus will fit in comfortably. I know...there is not really a damn thing I can do about it because it is on the street. Public property.
